Steven Berelowitz

Adv. Steven Berelowitz is a partner at Hamburger Evron & Co.'s international department, and head of the firm's Africa department. Steven's fields of expertise are commercial law, corporate law and international transactions.

Steven has acquired extensive experience in various legal practice fields, among others, real-estate transactions, construction and energy projects, and he has special expertise representing high-tech companies, both in Israel and abroad.

During recent years, Steven has been representing both international corporations and local entrepreneurs, with regard to one of Israel's exciting practice fields - Renewable Energy.

Steven represents his clients, among others, in establishing renewable energy power plants in Israel and large industrial enterprises in electricity purchase agreements.

Steven has ongoing connections and legal activities in developing markets including Africa and Central and Eastern Europe, providing close consultation to clients engaging in activities in various countries.

Over the years and following working closely with local law firms, Steven formed vast network of know-how and connections with businessmen, organizations and entrepreneurs in the different markets, allowing him to provide his clients with one-stop-shop solutions and professional legal coverage.

Steven also routinely represents technology and high-tech companies, and consults investors, entrepreneurs and development companies through the various stages of their corporate evolution and venture capital investments.

In addition, Steven is the Israeli jurisdiction author in the international magazine of "Getting the Deal Through", in the edition of foreign investments.

During the years of his academic studies, Steven was a research assistant to Professor M. Rabello, head of the Harry and Michael Sacher Institute for Legislative Research and Comparative Law at the Hebrew university of Jerusalem.

Steven is a bachelor of law (LL.B, with honors) and business administration studies (B.A), both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
